The Service
Redlynch Leisure offers an integrated service for the design and installation of safety
surfaces, and the supply of play equipment, base preparations, fencing and other
related items. We have developed our own surface - Flexitop - specifically to enhance
playground safety.
Design
Using state of the art Computer Aided Design, an exciting range of graphics can be
created, suitable for large and small areas. Any number of themes can be devised to
add to the enjoyment of the facility and a wide choice of colours will bring life to
playgrounds on the dullest days. Plain black is often used where budgets are
restricted or where a colourful design is not essential. An attractive playground is a
magnet for children, allowing them to play safely away from cars and other dangers.
Safety
By absorbing the impact of a fall, progressively deforming and lengthening the impact
over time and distance, Flexitop helps prevent serious head injuries. Slip resistant
qualities in both wet and dry conditions also help avoid accidents and make it the ideal

Installation

employs its own highly skilled and experienced
direct workforce to install the product. Rigorous
quality control and a zero defects policy at every

On site production and fast setting material allow Flexitop to be laid throughout the
year. However, in adverse weather conditions, Redlynch will suspend work rather than
compromise the quality of the finished product.
Equipment Supply
Redlynch Leisure works with the biggest and best providers of playground equipment.
To refurbish or construct a new play area in the quickest timescale, Redlynch can
procure and install the play equipment as part of a single package. This reduces the
client’s administrative costs, and savings can be ploughed back into the project.
Setting Standards
Flexitop has been rigorously tested by methods laid out in EN1177. It meets the
standards for free fall height, durability, resistance to indentation, slip resistance and
flammability. It is normally laid in accordance with the requirements of EN1176.
